“Harem Farm” is a fun, lighthearted isekai story that delivers on its titular promise: it’s all about a harem and farming. But not in that order.
I liked how the romantic elements were a slow burn, with our misplaced hero Steve spending the first half of the book getting to know the monster women while he helps them whip their decrepit, run-down farm back into shape. The relationships have time to grow before we get to the spicy bits, which makes them so much more satisfying.
The story was fast paced, straightforward, and highly enjoyable, with solid base-building and a neat system for leveling up. Not to mention the light humor and the solid sexy bits. I’m looking forward to more!
